Stories for Juniors

This is the first series of stories for Juniors all about the The Early Years of Jesus. It will contain a number of stories to encourage Juniors to read simple Bible stories and to enjoy doing various activities based on the stories.

In story 1, we learn of The Birth of Jesus, which took place many years ago in a manger.

In story 2, there is the journey of the wise men to Bethlehem, The visit of the Magi, following a special star to worship the baby Jesus, and also Herod’s attempt to kill him.

In story 3, we read about Jesus when he was twelve years old, sitting in the Temple Courts listening to the teachers and asking them questions, this one is called The Young Jesus in the Temple.

In story 4, we learn of The Baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist at the River Jordan.

In story 5, we read of how Jesus is tempted by the devil after spending forty days without food in the wilderness.

In story 6, Jesus calls His Disciples. These were just ordinary men who were prepared to follow Jesus.

All the stories will have activities such as crosswords, fill the gaps, true or false quizzes etc which are based on the content of the story.
