Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to say we had a good journey and arrived safely in Burkina Faso.  All our luggage arrived safely and in tract. We have settled into comfortable accommodation and tomorrow will see the building work and the children's work that we will be involved in.  Thanks for your prayers - keep praying,

Many thanks, Ian

Sunday 5th July
Hi Everyone,

We are all keeping well. Yesterday (Sat) we went to see the site where the building was taking place. It is a typical building site. Unfortunately it is not as advanced as we had hoped due to a number of circumstances. The foundations are dug and the column pillars are erected. So tomorrow it will be mixing and carrying concrete over rubble to put into the foundation. The temperature yesterday was 41 degrees C. and there is no shade where the building is taking place. In the afternoon we went to the place where the children's meeting are taking place and perhaps 60 children turned up without knowing we were coming as the meetings do start until Mon. So the Team sang a few songs, did some face painting of the children and had a few games with them and gave out a number of gospel tracts in evangelism.

Today the team was divided into two. Some went to the place where the congregation meets of whom we are going to build a church building for them - they were delighted to see us and without knowing anything about it I was asked to preach the sermon. The other group when to the small church were they will be holding the children's meetings and doing evangelism.

Tomorrow the real work begins.

On Friday we travel over 300? miles to where Jeremy works as we have a lot of work to do for him there.  It is great that we will be able to help Jeremy in this way. So at the moment we have Internet connection - hence this email but from Fri onward there will be little contact.  Continue to pray for safety on the building site and also safe travels, etc.
Every blessing,

Ian Fleck
