The History of Israel
God asked a man called Abraham to go to a country that he did not know. A son was born to him and his wife, Sarah, and they called him Isaac. A wife was found for Isaac when he grew up and they had two sons, Jacob and Esau. To one of these sons, Jacob, twelve sons were born and they founded the twelve tribes of Israel. These lessons describe the early years of Abraham and his family and how the twelve sons of Jacob spent years in Egypt before leaving it to conquer the land of Canaan.
